Ned is a geeky little guy who is extremely nervous for his upcoming speech. Panting and sweating, Ned’s wizard friend pops out of his imagination and tells him not to be afraid. Ned gathers all his courage and walks up on stage with his helpful friend on his shoulders. Can Ned overcome his fears and deliver a kick-ass speech?
Ned’s Nervous Nerves is a 2-week project at the Entertainment Technology Center and focuses on the topic of public speaking. The objective of the assignment was to create an interactive world where character A would help character B in order to overcome an obstacle. The project used Head-Mounted Display (HMD) technology in combination with shape tracing for an interactive experience.
